Enrollment and Match Support Specialist for York and Adams Counties

Position Summary:

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Enrollment and Match Support Specialist to join our team in York and Adams counties. The Enrollment and Match Support Specialist will play a vital role in the success of our mentoring programs by overseeing the enrollment process for youth (Littles) and providing ongoing support to matches to ensure positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Enrollment Procedures: Conduct enrollment procedures for youth (Littles) in accordance with national standards of practice, including scheduling and conducting interviews, completing necessary paperwork, and ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures.

Match Support: Provide ongoing support and guidance to matches, including regular check-ins with mentors (Bigs), youth (Littles), and families to assess match progress, address challenges, and celebrate successes.

Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of match activities, including match progress, attendance, and outcomes, using agency databases and tracking systems.

Training and Education: Conduct volunteer trainings and orientations for new mentors (Bigs), as well as ongoing training opportunities for current matches to enhance their mentoring relationships.

Program Implementation: Collaborate with school administrators, community partners, and agency staff to implement the mentoring program within York and Adams counties, ensuring that matches receive the support and resources they need to thrive.

Evaluation and Reporting: Assist in the evaluation of program effectiveness by collecting and analyzing data related to match outcomes, participant satisfaction, and program impact, and preparing reports as needed.

General Requirements & Skills

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, education, or a related field preferred.

· Previous experience working with youth and/or volunteer coordination preferred.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.

· Highly organized with excellent time management skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and professional attitude.

· Knowledge of the York and Adams counties community and school systems is a plus.

Schedule:

This is a full-time position with Monday to Friday hours. Some evening and weekend availability may be required for volunteer trainings and special events.
