Collusion Tap Works in York, PA is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team. In this position, you will be responsible for the preparation of ingredients and cooking/plating of high-quality menu items using our standard recipes.

You will be responsible for setting up a prep station, managing inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Ultimately, you will play an essential role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and company growth.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen is set up and stocked.
• Prepare simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
• Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
• Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
• Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
• Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
• Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
• Report to the executive chef and follow instructions.
• Make sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
• Clean prep areas and take care of leftovers.
• Stock inventory and supplies.
• Cook and plate menu items with the support of the kitchen staff.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Aptitude for multi-tasking.

• Cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
• Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
