POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of a Lead Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Manager, a Facility Maintenance Technician performs preventive maintenance tasks such as plumbing, welding, and tank decommissioning. This role requires a basic understanding of these systems to carry out routine maintenance and repairs. You'll benefit from working in a state-of-the-art facility, supporting our operations and servicing some of the most technically advanced equipment on site.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on plumbing, welding, and tank systems.
Conduct repairs and maintenance on facility equipment to ensure optimal operation.
Decommission tanks safely and in compliance with regulations.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with facility systems and equipment.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and protocols.
Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and systems.
Collaborate with other team members to address and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
Provide emergency maintenance support as needed to minimize downtime.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred
HOURS:
7am-3:30pm, M-F. Weekends and holidays are normally not required, but you may be asked to come in for 1/2 day on a Saturday to perform work that would otherwise conflict with daily operations.
