Description
- Shadowfax is offering Credentialing for DSPs and Front Line Supervisors! Advance your career and earn an incentive bonus as each certification level is achieved. Certifications offered for DSPI, DSPII, DSPIII, and FLS.
- $910/week
- Full-time position, salaried exempt
- Primary responsibility for personnel including supervising, supporting, training, evaluating and disciplining staff in programs. Responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of the individuals in the program and ensure ISP programming meets and exceeds regulatory requirements
Job responsibilities include:
- Provide supervision to staff in department
- Ensure staff provide excellent support to the individuals in our programs. This includes ensuring their health, safety, and welfare to the highest degree.
- Responsible for Program Specialist Duties as outlined in 2390 & 2380 regulations
- Ensure agency policies, laws, and regulations are followed within the department.
- Maintain ongoing communications with all team members in a positive and professional manner. This includes other departments within the agency, other agencies and caregivers, county, and state representatives.
- Act as a positive role model, exhibiting conduct stated in agency guidelines.

General Requirements & Skills
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and at least 3 years of good driving experience with your license, and must meet our driver eligibility criteria
- Basic computer skills required
Education requirements:
- Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college or university in Special Education, Psychology, Public Health, Rehabilitation, Social Work, Speech Pathology, Audiology, Occupational Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, or other human service field and 1 year of work experience working directly with persons with disabilities OR
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Special Education, Psychology, Public Health, Rehabilitation, Social Work, Speech Pathology, Audiology, Occupational Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, or other human service field and 2 years of work experience working directly with persons with disabilities OR
- Associate’s Degree or completion of a 2 year program from an accredited or university in Special Education, Psychology, Public Health, Rehabilitation, Social Work, Speech Pathology, Audiology, Occupational Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, or other human service field and 4 year of work experience working directly with persons with disabilities.
