About Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12:
We offer services in Adult Education, Nonpublic School Services, Business Services, Educational Services, Special Education, and Educational Technology. Serving local schools, businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies across Pennsylvania, we have offices in New Oxford, Chambersburg, York, and various Adult Education Centers.
Description:
This Special Education Teacher position designs instruction through daily lessons and implements effective individual and group strategies for students in the areas presented in the curriculum and aligned with the PA Core Standards and in accordance with student IEPs. Additionally, it provides the classroom staff with a schedule of assigned duties and responsibilities in the classroom and makes suggestions for them to further develop their skills in team planning, goal setting, recording and observing student behavior, achieving student goals, classroom management and communication strategies.
Qualifications:
- Valid PA Special Education Certification: PK-12 or PK-8 OR 7-12
- Experience with special needs, preferred.
Terms: Full-time, 188 days
Location: York, Adams, or Franklin county depending on specific position.
Salary: Bach. min. $48,157 Mast. min $53,450 plus benefits*
