York, PA – (January 29, 2020) – The York County Economic Alliance is pleased to announce the YoCo Workforce Connections Virtual Career Fair series that launched in April of 2020 will be continuing through the new year with a new name and date: The Pathways to Prosperity Virtual Career Fair series. The first will be held Wednesday, February 3 at 12 p.m. on Zoom and Facebook Live.
The series began last year as a response to those impacted by the pandemic layoffs. It provided an opportunity for job seekers, both adults and students, to continue their search for employment, training programs, and more, while still maintaining health and safety practices. It has since adapted to highlight employers and community partners with resources to further support job seekers and learners.
We welcome any community organization or employer with opportunities, whether that be job opportunities, training programs, internships, or apprenticeships to feature their opportunities by filling out this form to select a date from the following Wednesdays: February 17, March 3, March 17, March 31, April 14, April 28, May 12, or May 26.
All opportunities from our partners will be compiled on the Pathways Portal that houses a Connection Center and a directory of community resources that grows every week and is accessible in many languages.
The success of this series is made possible by the Pathways to Prosperity Workforce Committee and its many partners including the York County Reentry Coalition, the York County Alliance for Learning, Community Progress Council, New Hope Ministries, Crispus Attucks York, HACC Workforce Development and Continuing Education Division, York College of Pennsylvania, and others.
